My Hometown

Hey bloggers! In this post I will tell all of you about my hometown. Hmm.. actually, it's not mine because I was born in Jakarta and live in Depok until now. This is about my father's hometown. My father's hometown is in Lumajang district . It takes about 3-5 hours from the city of Surabaya (you can look for it on the maps, Google Maps, or Wikipedia if you don't know). I always go there with my family every few years in the month of Ramadhan.

Lumajang is famous for its natural outcome, especially bananas. So many people are calling it "Kota Pisang". In Lumajang also don't have a mall, a restaurant, cafe, or modern places like other cities that already have a cool place to hangout. But this district has many natural tourism spot that is certainly worth visiting, such as Bambang beach and bamboo forest area around the water spring Sumber Deling which is the preservation of various types of bamboo plants, also is home to a herd of monkeys and thousands of bats. If you visit Lumajang, don't miss also to swim in Selokambang. The scenery is still natural and surrounded by a grove of trees that make this tourism place is very beautiful, the water is also quite refreshing (I recommend it for you!).

I always like it when I 'm visiting Lumajang. Very natural place and the people are friendly so made me momentarily forget the "luxury" of Jakarta. That's all about my (father's) hometown. Thanks for reading♥
